Yuhua is a comfortable shawl collar fleece cardigan pattern with pockets and belt.

This is a very easy to sew cardigan that you can make using your plain sewing machine or your Serger.

It is designed for fleece fabric such as polar featuring a little crosswise stretch.

You can use thicker knits or other similar slightly stretch fabrics too, but you might need to cover the finishing edges to prevent from fraying. For instance you can use a folding elastic band.

If you’ll use Fleece fabric you will finish the edges even without folding it and will overcast it with zigzag stitches or with your Serger.

Make different versions using a simple plain color fabric and printed fabric and you will get two different looks.
